SOMERVILLE, N.J.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--ReachLocal (NASDAQ: RLOC) subsidiary DealOn™, a deal commerce company, announced today an agreement with NimbleCommerce, a leading white-label local commerce platform in the group-buying space. The relationship will allow NimbleCommerce's over 50 local and national publisher clients the ability to source from DealOn's quality, deal offers in nearly 20 U.S. markets via the Company's open and two-way group-buying exchange, OfferEx.
"Sourcing and curating group-buying offers is a challenging-yet pivotal-component to the success of deal commerce. With this new relationship, we combine DealOn's quality local and national merchants with NimbleCommerce's strong network of publishers with broad consumer reach," said Rich Razgaitis, General Manager of DealOn. "NimbleCommerce's publishers and technology increase the power and reach of the DealOn platform. We're thrilled to have them as a partner in our pioneering open source offer exchange."
OfferEx will give NimbleCommerce's publishers access to DealOn's inventory of deals, providing publishers more revenue opportunities, and for consumers, greater diversity of experiences and offers.
"Technology alone is not enough to scale a group-buying business. The quality of offers sourced by DealOn provides NimbleCommerce and its publishers a competitive advantage in the fast-growing local commerce space," said Prashant Nedungadi, CEO of NimbleCommerce. "Our customers can now leverage our technology, while also selecting any offer available in the OfferEx exchange by market or category, and then sell it on their own branded deal site."
